Science is a subject or a tool for investigation created by us, humans, based on our definitions and hypotheses

Science is a subject we humans created. It is an amazing tool with which to explore and explain the world around us, and its continued advances are indeed remarkable.

But, science is our version, ultimately limited in what it can prove and disprove; it simply provides empirical evidence to support our ( or the scientist's) hypotheses and is just built on definitions of things created by the human mind as per our experiences with 'our' physical, and biological senses.

The concept of an Ultimate Reality ( beyond the 'human ' reality—the ultimate truth, reality, or explanation of the universe—therefore falls outside the purview of science and requires a more philosophical or religious outlook.

The concept of an Ultimate Reality ( or a.k.a. God) is found in many religious and spiritual traditions and hardly seems exclusive to any one school of thought. Philosophically, multiple versions of the Ultimate Reality exist and can be seen as originating from human intuition as much as empirical evidence.

As such, science is simply one of the multiple sources of evidence, and cannot and should not be used to definitively answer any questions about an Ultimate Reality. While science can be used to understand and explain the physical world around us, the use of science to prove an Ultimate Reality or Divine Absolute or God seems problematic.

The idea of an Ultimate Reality is multifaceted; it implies a great principle of order that is at once both a metaphysical and physical reality. As stated, it also relies on a belief system; one must accept that there is something greater beyond our immediate physical reality. This type of belief is widely accepted by religious communities and often requires faith rather than evidence.

Science can certainly provide valuable insight into our world and is an incredibly useful tool for exploring physical reality as well as creating technological solutions to our problems and our gadgets. However, science cannot be used to prove or disprove an Ultimate Reality (God)

Namaste!
