It’s time to move the conversation from "What can AI do?" to "Who is AI actually serving?"

 

The scale is broken. 🚩

AI is accelerating this wealth gap at an irreversible rate.

 

A top billionaire made 400 billion in 2025 in one year ... more than 1 billion every single day, i.e., more than 1000 x $1 million every single day ... ! We’ve reached a point where wealth accumulation has scaled beyond human comprehension. When a single individual's net worth can grow by $1 Billion every 24 hours, the old "work hard and save" model isn't just outdated—it’s broken.

 

A Misdirected Evolution

The core issue is that AI—and the corporations behind it—doesn't inherently care about global poverty, healthcare access, or the environment. In fact, the environmental cost is a crisis of its own:

🎓 Smart, educated people can’t find "proper" jobs. Millennials and Gen Z professionals are struggling to find stable, livable-wage work.

🌍 AI data centers are straining our environment as data centers consume unprecedented land and energy. AI is being driven by profit, not by solving global poverty or the climate. Massive data centers are draining power grids. The impact on land and climate is often sidelined for faster processing speeds.

 

Disruption

We are at a crossroads. Unless decision-makers act quickly to regulate how AI wealth is distributed and how its power is used, we aren't just looking at a "tough market"—we are looking at an engineered future of permanent inequality.

AI is a tool, but right now, it’s a tool for profit—not for people.

The real disruption is just beginning. As AI integrates into our economy, without rapid intervention from policymakers, AI will accelerate this inequality exponentially.

We need to change the rules of the game before the "Genie" is too far out of the bottle to ever be put back. 🧞‍♂️🚫
