HNL take off 3:55 pm .
9 hr flight.
Hindu veg meal only veggies !!
Reached Tokyo Haneda around 8 pm local…
Haneda hassles — COVID long line for non Japan Web Online registration and QR code holders.
Then the immigration officer asked for QR code ! another form! Filled out paper form.
Then Customs same issues -asking for QR code from Visit Japan Web - I filled out paper form
Tickets to Shibuya was confusing for non-Japanese.
Tourist info says different things like Monorail options or Local trains with transfers.
Haneda — Shinagawa —- station transfer JR train to Shibuya …
No credit card!! Only cash did ATM Withdrawal of 10,000 yen - 77 usd
Started train around 9 pm..
Feb 24, 2023 Friday
Flight landed at around 8 PM Tokyo time
Walked around Shibuya. 10-11pm
Walked to hostel —- Wise Owl as it was late…11pm … no reservation, guy was nice to find dorm sleeping pod for 4200yen.
Feb 25, 2023 Saturday
On way back - walked to Shibuya station. 20 mins. Inside station was very confusing. Buying ticket from machine not easy unless helped by Agent.
470 Yen for the ticket. Shibuya to Shinagawa by JRail. Onwards transfer to Keikya (?) rail to Haneda T3.
Flight for Delhi takes off around 11:15 AM
Reached New Delhi around 6:30 PM

Was on this tour from 5:30 till about 7pm
350m and 450m heights
Place is a huge shopping mall in the lower floors 2,3,4.
Phone battery ran out had a tough time to charge, everyone refused…
Finally bought a Power Bank in the building malls from BIC electronics for about Y 1350 or so
8 pm Took local metro again to Shibuya
Had dinner at a all Japanese restaurant… noodle soup..

Reserved KAIJI 15 express at 10:30am with JR PASS upto Otsuki. Car-10, seat-2a…interesting seat indicator system for reserved seats , green … but upcoming seats for new reservation lights change!!
Need to get a separate ticket there for Kawaguchiko. ¥1500

Train to airport issues from Akasuka.. confusing google and Navi app… station staff misdirected.. visitor info helped…
Again mistaken as I took the local train to Narita that took 1:40 mins! And charged ¥990 at airport exit gate as my 24 hr pass didn’t work at airport….4:45-6:25
Should have taken JR or other express to Airport.
Spent half a day commuting on local trains!
Baggage pickup at JAL Storage was quick and check in and security and immigration ( automatic passport scan)
was very smooth and quick….
At gate 61 for flight JL784 before 6:45…
